OHA High Performance - Huge Success

Over 90 Ontario Hockey Association and minor hockey prospects participated in the 3rd annual OHA High Performance Program presented by Easton, last weekend in London at the Western Fairgrounds Sports Centre.

John Anderson newly signed head coach with the Atlanta Thrashers of the NHL was on hand the entire weekend and participate in many aspects of the program from practices to speaking to the players, parents and staff coaches.
 
 The weekend included all 5 teams participating in off-ice and on-ice testing, one team practice session, and a round robin tournament. The goaltenders also had 2 - 90 minutes skill sessions instructed by Barry Madigan a goalie consultant and coach to many successful professional goaltenders.
 
During the event the players and parents participated in educational seminars from guest speakers from many levels of elite hockey including, the OHA, CIS, NCAA, NHL, Minor Professional, and European hockey.
 
The Camp staff also had coaches from the OHA from all categories; CIS and European Hockey to ensure the participants received top end coaching and instruction over the weekend.
