Team adopts local minor hockey moniker

The team formerly known as the Petrolia Jets are now the Lambton Shores Predators.

Ownership had secured permission from the OHA to move the club from Petrolia to Forest earlier this year, and have now adopted the Predators nickname used by the local minor hockey organization.

The team will play their home game at The Shores Recreation Centre in Forest.

The Predators are the third WOHL team to change names during the current off-season, and one of two teams to change location. The Tecumseh Chiefs have moved to LaSalle and are now called the LaSalle Vipers, while the Sarnia team name has been changed from Blast to Legionnaires.
